I'm an Australian/ French artist based in Brisbane.
I graduated from the ESAG Penninghen in Paris then work in Hong Kong/ Beijing and Australia in architecture.
Similar to a building a house, I put parts together to create my vessels.
After 20 years in architecture, I'm just reflecting what I have learned through ceramics now.
Throughout my studies and practice I’ve collected elements that I feel so drawn to, whether it be colour, texture or form and begun combining them with one another.
It’s been a process of following my intuition to create objects that I love.
I’m so delighted to share my visual language with the world.
I’m guided by the repetitive rhythm of adding one piece at a time, the form unfolding with each layer.
It can take me up weeks to create just one piece. But patience and originality is part of what makes these hand-crafted pieces so special – and distinctive.
The process is so important as it’s deeply fluid by starting my days with meditation and then decide on the creation and what sparks joy again and again.
The clay is like a living organism teaching me about life:
- Everything has a timing
- Failing is part of life
- Life is organic, there's no set rules and we must experiment
- There is infinite possibilities, you are the creator
